Originally, this upgrade of King Joe was intended to be breathtaking, and this was the absolute best moment for it!

Standing 120 meters tall, the massive war robot gleaming entirely in gold brought an unimaginable sense of awe. One must remember that previously this creature was only 80 meters tall, but now it had suddenly reached 120 meters.

"By the Emperor, this! This!"

"This is a miracle of the great God-Emperor! The miracle has descended once again!" Superior Sister Anna, however, wore a calm expression, having witnessed the God-Emperor's miracles far too many times over the past two days.

This man named Rhode claimed to be half a primarch, but now one had to add yet another title to his name: the Chosen of the Emperor, much like those Living Saints.

No! You are even more powerful than a Living Saint!

"Lord Rhode! Please forgive me for refusing your request! Although those Deathwatch warriors truly need reinforcement, it is not yet enough to warrant you taking such a risk." Polar Stars Space Marine Sergeant Dress shook his head and said.

Warp travel was an extremely perilous endeavor. Although Lord Rhode possessed the blessing of the Emperor, piloting such a small spacecraft into the Warp was undeniably an act of courting death.

Generally, entering the Warp with a single ship was unfeasible; it required a fleet composed of at least several vessels, and navigating within the Warp was fraught with countless dangers.

"I have already said that under the blessing of the God-Emperor, the Chaos Daemons of the Warp have no way to obstruct me." Rhode stated.

In truth, King Joe was only capable of flying within planetary atmospheres or near space; the ones truly capable of interstellar flight were Bemular and the Alien Pegass' spacecraft.

These two behemoths could fly through space at faster-than-light speeds, which was Rhode's trump card for survival in the perilous universe.

Therefore, Rhode had no need to traverse the dangerous Warp at all. However, voicing this matter would be far too shocking, so Rhode had no intention of informing the others.

The fewer things these Space Marines, Battle Sisters, and Astra Militarum soldiers knew, the safer they would be. Such was the reality of this dark world. This planet was in a state of lost contact, which was actually a good thing.

Some Imperial citizens were silenced by the Grey Knights simply for catching a glimpse of a Chaos Daemon, and sometimes their silencing meant the total destruction of an entire world.

Even to halt the advance of the Tyranid swarms, the High Lords of Terra would issue Exterminatus orders upon a thousand planets directly, creating a cosmic quarantine zone to block the Tyranids.

"Lord Rhode! If you insist on going to reinforce the Deathwatch, then please allow me to accompany you." Polar Stars Space Marine Sergeant Dress spoke up.

"And us! Lord Rhode, please let all the Battle Sisters accompany you, and bathe the daughters of the Emperor in the light of the Emperor." Superior Sister Anna dropped to one knee along with all the Battle Sisters and addressed Rhode.

"No! I can ensure my own safety alone in the Warp, but you cannot. Furthermore, you have a far more important mission.

You must rebuild this planet ravaged by the swarm, and then await reinforcements from the Imperial Navy or the fleet of the Polar Stars primary chapter." Rhode declared.

Leaving these Battle Sisters, Space Marines, and Astra Militarum soldiers here would at least allow them to enjoy a moment of tranquility.

Hiding out here for a few years would be quite safe. This time, Rhode needed to adopt a brand-new persona before heading over.

If he brought along these Battle Sisters and Space Marines while claiming to be the Emperor's Chosen and half a primarch, Rhode would inevitably draw the attention of the High Lords of Terra. At this current juncture, Rhode had no desire to expose his true identity just yet.

He had to wait until the conclusion of the 13th Black Crusade a year later and the awakening of Roboute Guilliman before Rhode could reveal certain things. The upper echelons of the Imperium of Man were already utterly rotten to the core.

"But! Lord Rhode!"

"Say no more! My mind is made up!

The external swarm has already been cleared out. I will immediately strike out and eliminate these two Titan-class organisms to ensure the true safety of this planet." Rhode once again channeled his psychic power, his entire body glowing with a golden radiance.

Having persuaded everyone, Rhode stepped into the cockpit of King Joe.

By this time, the swarm on the planet had been completely eradicated by Bemular, and Rhode's system coin count had reached over 13,000. (The 26,000 system coins used for the upgrade were what the protagonist had previously accumulated from destroying the mothership.)

Rhode first approached Bemular, engaging the giant bird in a flamboyant aerial dogfight, and then led Bemular to Red King's location, waking the slumbering Red King with a single blast.

The awakened Red King did not even require any attack commands from Rhode; upon spotting Bemular, it immediately charged forward in sheer excitement.

This giant bird looked like it was worth a good fight!

"Roar! Roar!"

"Screech! Coo-coo!"

The two heavyweights clashed in a chaotic brawl, exchanging punches and wing-strikes, thoroughly enjoying themselves.

When it came to close-quarters combat, Red King truly could contend with Bemular after unleashing its brute strength, but that was against an unupgraded Bemular.

Controlling the two monsters to exchange blows for a while allowed Rhode to thoroughly satisfy his craving for monster brawling!

I must admit! That big fool Red King possessed truly ferocious melee combat capabilities; Bemular, despite outweighing it twofold, had failed to put it down!

Realizing that melee combat could not subdue this behemoth, Bemular immediately took flight into the sky, its head's yellow horn continuously discharging yellow lightning bolts to attack Red King.

Facing such ranged attacks, Red King was completely out of options, able only to leap about frantically in place and pick up boulders to hurl at the space bird.

However, struck in the arm by a bolt of yellow lightning, the rock in its hand dropped and smashed onto its own foot.

The foolish Red King clutched its foot, hopping around on the ground before collapsing flat on its face, unable to climb back up for a long while.

Seizing the opportunity, Bemular descended to the ground and began beating the fallen enemy, knocking Red King out with two slaps before opening the absorption organ on its abdomen.

Feigning the action of absorption, Rhode simultaneously operated the system to store the fool Red King away into the system space.

Following that, Rhode piloted King Joe and lured Bemular high up into the sky, staging a crushing performance and bombarding the space bird with artillery fire.

He put on a spectacular exploding fireworks show in the sky! Making it appear as though Bemular had been blasted into absolute oblivion.

The Space Marines and Astra Militarum soldiers watching from below erupted into ecstatic cheers. Both of these horrifying Titan-class lifeforms had been eradicated by the God-Emperor's divine machine.

"Long live the Emperor!"

"The invincible divine machine!"

At this moment, the two giant monsters were resting quietly within the system space, and Rhode nodded in satisfaction.

Controlling King Joe to descend to the ground, the next step was to gather some supplies, and then it would be time to withdraw!
