When I saw a new writing competition pop up, I started this book without much hesitation. I never expected that in less than a month, the performance would keep getting better and better. I am truly grateful from the bottom of my heart for the enthusiastic support of my readers (bows again). When I first published the book, I was always thinking about updating more every day to make it more enjoyable for you, and as a result, the new book phase ended in less than a month!

I have been reading every single one of your opinions and comments, and I try to reply whenever I have some free time. Occasionally, I even go back to edit or revise parts that don't make sense. I have learned so much from your comments—knowledge that I wouldn't have reached on my own. I have humbly accepted these lessons, which, in a way, has allowed me to grow and learn alongside the protagonist.

Of course, for this book to have achieved even a small level of success, I must also thank my editors, Touming and Shuimo, for their guidance throughout the entire process. They helped me keep the pacing in check. I have been writing for many years and have had so many failures, but finally, thanks to the advice of experts, I have made a little bit of progress.

The insights of my editors are truly exceptional, and their standards are high. With just a few pointers, they cleared the fog for this little "failure" who was used to writing in isolation, giving me a clear direction for the subsequent plot.

Alright, enough with the sentimental chatter; let's get to the practical stuff!

I have been thinking about how to manage the update schedule after the official launch. I'm afraid if I update too quickly, the quality will suffer, but if I go too slowly, I'm afraid my readers won't be satisfied.

Therefore, I have come up with a "bonus chapter pool" rule. Based on the previous rhythm of chapters around 3,000 words, there will be a guaranteed two updates per day.

Anything beyond those two updates will count as bonus content. I intend to write a bit more slowly going forward and reduce the "fluff" to avoid deviating from the intended plot rhythm. I don't want you all complaining about excessive filler or forcing nonsensical, toxic plot points into the story.

I am not some great literary master; I am just an old "writer of flops." I don't dare ask for too much, so let's treat this as a fun, interactive game.

Here are the rules for the bonus chapter pool:

Every 100 average subscriptions = +1 bonus chapter!
Every 300 monthly votes = +1 bonus chapter! Reaching the top 100 on the overall rankings = +3 bonus chapters!
Every 3,000 recommendation votes = +1 bonus chapter!
Every 50,000 coins in cumulative tips = +1 bonus chapter!
A "Grand Patron" (Mengzhu) tip of 100,000 coins = +3 bonus chapters immediately!

For a Grand Patron tip, one chapter will be released the very same day, no matter how many chapters I have already posted. Even if I have already posted eight or ten chapters and am sleeping in the middle of the night, I will wake up to celebrate with you—it is my way of showing gratitude to such a benefactor. The other two chapters will be added to the bonus pool to be settled later.

Reaching 10,000 first-time subscriptions (light up the badge) = +5 bonus chapters!
Reaching 100,000 followers = +5 bonus chapters!

Of course, these figures are based on the data from the new book period and were not set randomly. All bonus chapters will be released gradually over the course of a month. I will add them on top of my daily guaranteed updates. If the bonus pool isn't cleared by the end of the month, the remainder will roll over to the next month. I expect I will have to adjust these rules once the readership grows.

Adding all of this up, the monthly bonus pool is quite substantial. I estimate that I will definitely be able to guarantee at least 4 to 5 updates per day, so rest assured.

If I set the targets any higher, I simply wouldn't be able to keep up. After all, human effort is limited, and I am afraid of the story collapsing if I get too carried away. I know none of you want to see a rushed ending or a massive amount of filler.

As for the first day of the launch, we won't count it toward the bonus pool; consider it a special treat from me to you—a massive release! (If there are Grand Patron tips today, they will be settled tomorrow.)

Starting from the second day of the launch, we will begin tracking the bonus pool data. Since we are not launching at the beginning of the month, we won't count the data from the free period prior to the launch (we will start counting from the data on the early morning of the 14th, which I can see updated daily in the Writer's Assistant). If I counted everything from the beginning, it would be too much, and I would never be able to fulfill it, which wouldn't be fair to anyone.

I will provide updates on the previous day's data and the bonus chapter status at the end of each chapter in the "Author's Note."
