Reflections on the Release of "Crafting the Celestial Artifacts"!

I have always been a rather clumsy person—
This has been my greatest realization in recent years of writing!
I wrote five consecutive novels, and only when I reached the sixth, a novel sharing the same title, "Gu Zhenren," did I begin to show some improvement. At that time, I didn’t know that creating such an unconventional protagonist would bring much criticism, misunderstanding, exclusion, and even bans. I simply wanted to write.
Before "Gu Zhenren" was finished, all six of my books were banned.
At that time, I didn’t even want to touch the xianxia (immortal hero) genre—it felt as if the whole world had darkened.
Then I wrote my seventh book, "Infinite Blood Core," immersing myself in innovating writing techniques without considering reader experience at all, and I ended up hitting a brick wall, suffering a crushing defeat. "Infinite Blood Core" underwent extensive revisions for more than half a year, rewriting nearly a million words. What sustained me physically and spiritually was one goal—to achieve the layout and structure I had imagined.
I barely reached the goal I set, but was utterly drained.
When I began creating "Immortal Crafts," my initial title was "The Ordinary Master of Mechanisms."
I worked on the outline and drafted the manuscript.
I showed it to my chief editor, Dragonfly.
We went through five or six rounds of cuts and edits.
Thanks to Dragonfly’s guidance, I refined much, moving later chapters forward.
Otherwise, the story would have been much slower to warm up than what you see now.
Much slower indeed!
Then, chatting with readers, I revealed the working title and got criticized.
The title was indeed poor.
I couldn’t think of a better one.
I have always struggled with titles and synopses.
So I asked everyone for suggestions.
Thanks to everyone, we finally settled on the current title—"Immortal Crafts."
When the new book was released, I didn’t anticipate the weekend issues on Qidian, causing a two-day delay in rescheduling, and only then could everyone start rewarding.
That was my fault.
I had never paid attention to such matters before.
Writing "Immortal Crafts," I began paying attention to data, formally learning about monthly ticket rules and the true value of rankings for the first time.
I am a very clumsy person!
Then it began...
Hundreds of patrons in a single day, two hundred in one day, three hundred in two days, 400 patrons with just 60,000 words on release day, 500 before going live!
The fastest rise to a four-star Glory work, breaking records across the entire network!
So far, 524 patrons have pledged!
Completely unexpected.
I never imagined this!
Even now, I’m still bewildered.
It feels unreal.
After all these years writing, I was used to insults, criticism, misunderstanding, and being ignored. I knew that rhythm well. This new rhythm is something I’ve never experienced before—utterly unfamiliar.

To be honest, at first, I was thrilled and excited!
Then, I felt something was off.
Afterward, I felt anxious and uneasy. I have never encountered such treatment before. I am used to writing under pressure and criticism. This is the first time I’ve experienced such a writing environment.
I am deeply grateful to everyone.

I know well how long I have spent at the bottom of life’s valley, when every drop of water and every ray of sunlight was so precious and worthy of gratitude.
